“DIGITAL MIND FEST: Artificial Intelligence and Future Intellectual Ideas” competition
On November 18, 2025, I participated in the “DIGITAL MIND FEST: Artificial Intelligence and Future Intellectual Ideas” competition, which brought together nearly 100 undergraduate, master’s, and residency students, including international participants. I was among the youngest competitors and presented my RIC project at the event. The competition was assessed by a panel of ten jury members, all highly experienced and distinguished professors, making the evaluation process both rigorous and demanding. It would therefore be inaccurate to describe the competition as easy. Despite the strong and diverse competition, my dedication, analytical approach, and innovative thinking enabled me to secure second place. Beyond the award itself, this experience significantly strengthened my confidence, expanded my academic perspective through interaction with international peers, and reinforced my commitment to pursuing advanced research and innovation in the field of artificial intelligence. The recognition I received serves as a strong motivation for my future academic and professional development.
The project is structured into three integrated components that together form a unified scientific ecosystem. The first component is a centralized portal that functions as a comprehensive data repository. This portal stores scientific metadata, journal metric indicators, and analytical statistical information, providing a reliable foundation for research evaluation and transparency. The second component focuses on elevating local scientific journals to the international level through the implementation of the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. The project team possesses full operational expertise in OJS and has successfully deployed and utilized this system across institutional journals, ensuring compliance with international publishing standards. The third component is an artificial intelligence–driven system designed to continuously monitor both the central portal and journal websites. The AI oversees journal performance indicators, manages data exchange processes, and supports informed decision-making through automated analysis. When combined, these three components form a single, cohesive system that evolves into a new, sustainable scientific ecosystem.
Local scientific journals often face limited visibility, fragmented data infrastructure, and insufficient analytical tools to meet international standards. The absence of a unified platform for metadata management, performance monitoring, and strategic decision-making hinders their ability to compete globally and slows the development of a modern research environment.
This project delivers an integrated, AI-powered ecosystem that unifies data management, journal internationalization, and intelligent monitoring within a single framework. By combining a centralized metadata portal, full-scale OJS implementation, and an advanced AI monitoring system, the solution enhances transparency, improves journal quality, supports evidence-based decision-making, and accelerates the global integration of local scientific journals. In the long term, the system serves as a scalable foundation for a next-generation scientific infrastructure.
